WENSHE LIU LAB
The Wenshe Liu Lab is comprised of facilities at multiple Texas A&M campuses located in College Station and Houston. We are a chemical biology group focused on applying novel techniques for the development of therapeutics and the identification of new target proteins.
While interested in all areas of drug discovery, main applications are currently tailored for generating cancer and COVID therapeutics. There are several current research projects related to drug discovery, with the main interests as follows:

-
Applications of Genetically Encoded Macrocyclic Peptide Libraries Containing Non-canonical Amino Acids
-
Epigenetic Regulation of Proteins by Ubiquitination and other Ubiquitin-like Proteins
-
Development of Advanced Immunotherapies
-
Targeted Small Molecule and PROTAC Development
